NJIT Hosts Arab Awareness Week: Co-sponsored By Christian, Muslim and Jewish Students

WHAT:At a time when America is at war in the Middle East, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) hosts Arab Awareness Week – a celebration of Arabic culture, religion, history and science. The week, sponsored by the Arab Students Association, the Jewish Student Organization, the Christian Fellowship and the Muslim Students Association, bespeaks the civil diversity of the NJIT student body. Each day during the week of March 31 – April 4, students will set up tables that showcase aspects of Arab life.

WHO: NJIT students from the above groups will be available to talk to reporters.

WHERE:The events are held on the campus green or in the Hazell Student Center.
