NJIT Community News BriefsCelebration NJIT's annual black-tie gala fund-raiser for the Albert Dorman Honors College and the new College of Computing Sciences will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 7 p.m., at Pleasantdale Chateau, in West Orange, N.J. Terrorism And Global Politics An open forum on "Terrorism and Global Politics," sponsored by the NJIT/Rutgers-Newark Federated Department of History and the College of Science and Liberal Arts, will be held Monday, Oct. 29, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., in Guttenberg Information Technologies Center 1400. Lauren Benton, professor of history, will moderate a panel discussion. Participants include Rutgers-Newark faculty members Richard Langhorne, director of the Center for Global Change and Governance, and Peter Golden, professor of history; and Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna, NJIT director of university advancement. Thesis, Dissertation Workshop Detail of writing and formatting of master's theses and doctoral dissertations will be presented at a workshop sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies, the library, and the department of humanities and social sciences, Friday, Oct. 26, 1 p.m., in Cullimore Lecture Hall III.
