Safety Tips For Mail Deliveries
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking people to look for the following in their mail.
- Misspelled words.
- Addressed to a position title only, not a name.
- Address with a wrong position title.
- Address badly typed or hand-written.
- No return address.
- Lopsided or bulky.
- Strange odor.
- Oily stains or discoloration.
- Wrapped with an excessive amount of tape or string.
- Excessive postage.
- Restrictive markings, such as personal.
Suspicious mail should be isolated in a secure location or placed in a plastic bag. Leave and secure the room, wash your hands and call ext. 3111.
