West Point National Bridge Contest

Ed Duaenheimer, Professor of Civil Engineering, is the New Jersey Coordinator of a West Point National Bridge Contest. He is the only State coordinator of all states and has contributed significantly to the national contest.

Professor Dauenheimer,

I just got a note from a NJ teacher that mentioned your bridge seminar today at NJIT. It reminded me that I owe you a huge "thank you" for your efforts to promote the West Point Bicentennial Engineering Design Contest. We have received 17,000 entries so far, with good representation from New Jersey. I'm sure your efforts have contributed substantially to this number.

Ultimately, the more registered teams we get this year, the better our chances of obtaining funding to run the contest again in future years. Thanks for helping us to spread the word!
