M.S. Pharmaceutical Engineering

Provide students with the skills required to work in the pharmaceutical field, with particular emphasis on the engineering aspects of drug manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, pharmaceutical development and pharmaceutical operations. With tracks for process development and design for either drug substance manufacturing or drug product manufacturing.

Students in the MS Pharma Engineering Master's Degree Program will learn a wide range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills: 
 • Principles of pharmaceutical engineering.
 • Pharmaceutical unit operations (processing of liquid and dispersed-phase systems, and solids processing).
 • Validation and regulatory issues.
 • Principles of pharmacokinetics and drug delivery.
