NJIT Campus Center - Bringing the NJIT Community Together
The
Campus is the hub of cultural, educational, and social activities for the NJIT
community. The Campus Center staff provides students, faculty, and staff with a
relaxing environment where they can enjoy a meal, attend a meeting, study, watch
a film, play a variety of games, participate in the many cultural, social, and
educational activities offered, or just socialize with friends.
If you have questions regarding the Campus Center, contact the Director, Donna Minnich Spuhler in the Campus Center Administrative Offices, located adjacent to the Campus Center Information Desk on the First Floor.
Highlander Welcome Days 2008 - August 30-September 1
Highlander Welcome Days is the official kick-off for first-year students, welcome residential and commuter students to Highlander Country! Activities are planned for the three days before classes begin - you can download your calendar online or join the Facebook event by searching Facebook.com for "NJIT Highlander Welcome Days."
Family Orientation is also on August 30, and begins at 1 pm in the Campus Center Ballroom.
Pancakes with the President - Tuesday September 2, 8 am to 10 am
The best way to start a new semester is with FREE FOOD! Make sure to stop by the Campus Center Green and pick up your free breakfast, served by NJIT faculty and staff, and saying hello to President Bob before heading to class!
Student Organization Workshop Day - Saturday September 6
Don't forget to come to the Student Organization Workshop Day on Saturday September 6. Student Senate, Greek Life and the Campus Center will hold their respective recognition meetings for the year - but all groups that wish to reserve space on-campus and advertise events MUST attend the Campus Center portion. Please make sure that your president, vice president and treasurer are able to attend this MANDATORY program!
