What's New at NJIT:  NJIT is looking forward to an exciting 2007 academic year. The 853 new first-year students joining us hail from 13 states. Their most popular majors are architecture, civil engineering, computer engineering and computer science.

To learn more about the qualifications of this year's freshman class:

NJIT's new Campus Center is now open. Students will find new facilities for dining and student organizations, as well as an outdoor roof garden, two-story student lounge, convenience store, six-lane bowling alley and computer center. NJIT has a new strategic plan aimed at advancing the university into the ranks of the nation's leading public research universities.

Future Employment: The job market is looking up for new college graduates, especially in engineering, computing and business. Read an article from the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Tuition and Financial Aid: Although there is a lot of growth and innovation occurring on campus, tuition is still affordable and there are many financial aid opportunities.

About eighty percent of students are offered and accept some form of financial aid at NJIT.  Through scholarships and grants, loans and work-study, NJIT students are getting an exceptional education at affordable rates.

Applying for Admission: The application deadlines are April 1 for the fall semester and November 15 for the spring.  NJIT uses rolling admissions, but we recommend applying early!  Students will be notified of their status within three weeks of completion of their applications.
