Class of 1936

Class of 1936 at Reunion 2006

John Humphrey ’36 who traveled up from Horse Shoe, North Carolina to attend the NJIT 2006 Spring Reunions weekend, turned out to be the sole representative of his class.  A few of his classmates had stated their desire to attend, but unfortunately lacked John’s mobility.

Although none of his classmates were there, John was not on his own for a minute.  Being a very interesting and lively guy, he was “adopted” by other classes everywhere he went, and made a lot of new friends, including President Bob Altenkirch, pictured above with John.  He partied as long as there was partying to do, stayed for the weekend in the dorm, and then headed off to New York City to visit his sister.
