Alumni

CLASS OF 1964

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

On the evening of Saturday, June 13, 2009 Alumni gathered in the beautiful new Campus Center to celebrate class reunions.  The 5-year anniversary reunions included all alumni who graduated in a year ending in ‘4’ or ‘9’.

The Reunion Dinner Dance was a first class party. An elegant cocktail reception hosted by President and Mrs. Altenkirch was followed by a great dinner and a terrific band.  We thoroughly enjoyed not only spending time together, but also having the opportunity to compare notes on life at NJIT with both older alums and younger ones.

Those of us who hadn’t seen the campus in years just couldn’t get over the changes that have taken place, from the sparkling modern buildings and the elegantly restored Eberhardt Hall to the beautiful landscaping and athletic facilities.  If you haven’t been back in the last few years, we promise you, it’s definitely worth the trip.

The Class of  ’64 had solo  representation by Jay Giles and his wife, Irene, who despite being the only 45th Reunion reps had a sensational time.  Jay hopes to see more of his classmates in 2014 at their 50th!!!
