Class of 1987

 OUR 25th REUNION Is History!!

On Alumni Weekend, May 18-20, 2012,  the class of 1987 will celebrated its 25th class reunion on the university campus.

The  weekend  encompassed every class that has graduated in a year ending in “2” or “7”, beginning with the class of 1932 and ending with the class of 2007.

We enjoyed a tour of the new campus (which now houses 3 more colleges), lectures and academic presentations, student capstone projects and art exhibits, networking and wine tasting events, the fun of reuniting with classmates and the opportunity to talk with students and alumni of all ages. Dr. Joel Bloom, the new president of NJIT was on hand to share his vision and plans for NJIT.

The weekend culminated on Saturday with the Alumni Awards Ceremony followed by a first class party.  Some of us even enjoyed the 'after party in the dorms'!

If you missed this Reunion - don't miss our 30th coming up in 2017. It will be here before you know it!

Remembering our 20th Reunion

Thanks to the hard work of Eladio Ruiz and Don Blazina, a dozen members of the class of ’87 gathered to celebrate our 20th reunion on Saturday, May 20th, and had a wonderful time.

It was a first class party. An elegant cocktail reception hosted by President and Mrs. Altenkirch was followed by a great dinner and a terrific band, which we made sure did not go to waste.  Some of us came armed with pictures from our college days, which, in many cases, were cause for great hilarity.  We were delighted to see that we all looked exactly the same as we did 20 years ago (!)
