SAVE THE DATE!
Believe it or not, it’s been twenty years since we graduated! It is definitely time to get together and have a party. So plan to put on your party clothes and come join us on campus on June 7th.
“WHAT?” You may say. “On CAMPUS?”
But you would not say that if you have been back within the last couple of years. Trust us, this place is nothing like you remember. Our old campus has grown to 45 acres and includes a modern student center with a huge atrium, a bell tower, and beautiful green spaces. The old Eberhardt Hall has been restored to 1880’s elegance and is now the Eberhardt Hall Alumni Center and home of the University Club.
We’ve already started planning, and it’s going to be GOOD! President and Mrs. Bob Altenkirch will host a cocktail reception with an open bar, followed by dinner and dancing with a seven piece band.
The reunion will include every class that has graduated in a year ending in “3” or “8”, from ’38 to ‘03. The classes have their own tables, but you will have the opportunity to visit with alumni of all ages and stages. Judging by the reports from last year’s reunion, the challenge will be keeping up with the older generation on the dance floor.
If you haven’t yet returned the reunion questionnaire that was sent to you, please do. We want your news. If you’ve “misplaced” it, please call the Office of Alumni Relations (973) 596-3441 and they will send you another one.
One more thing. If you would like to call some classmates to make sure we have an even bigger turnout than the class of ‘88, just contact one of us. We’d love to hear from you, and we will get you the information you need.
See you in the Spring!
