Things Have Sure Changed Around Here!

On Saturday, May 20th, our classmates and their guests made up two tables of party-goers, all there to celebrate our 10th class reunion at the new NJIT Campus Center.

Those of us who hadn’t seen the campus in years just couldn’t get over it.  Amazing changes have taken place on the campus since we graduated.  Our old campus has grown to 40 acres – a striking new student center, several dorms, a bell tower, an athletic center, and beautifully landscaped green spaces all over campus.  The old Eberhardt Hall has been restored to 1880’s elegance and is now the Eberhardt Hall Alumni Center and home of the University Club.

It was a first class party. An elegant cocktail reception hosted by President and Mrs. Altenkirch was followed by a great dinner and a terrific band, which we made sure did not go to waste. 

It was great to reconnect with some of our classmates.   After having a chance to talk to and watch the members of the classes that had been out 40 and 50 years longer than us,  we happily concluded that the longer you are out of NJIT, the harder you party.  We can’t wait for our 50th!
