NJIT has active men's soccer alumni clubs with annual reunions in both NJ and Florida.  In September 2007, soccer alumni and friends gathered to see the men's varsity soccer team in action in San Diego, California. The Highlanders took on San Diego State University on Friday, September 7 and then on Sunday played the University of San Diego.
