What is the Young Alumni Club?
The Young Alumni Club (YAC), a component of the University’s new Alumni Council, is an active organization of volunteers that plans and sponsors gatherings for alumni who have graduated approximately within the last 20 years. Our events are designed variously for singles, couples and families.

February- Family day and basketball game on campus
March- Wine tasting in Eberhardt Hall: Food and Wines of Europe
June- NJIT Night at Riverfront Stadium with barbecue, game and fireworks
September- End of Summer Party at Bar A in Belmar
October- 1. Fall Harvest Festival: picnic, apple picking, and hayrides.
2. Chili Cook-off on NJIT Day
3. Bowling Night at Brunswick Lanes
November- Group discount tickets to Radio City Christmas Spectacular and pre-show party at Charley-O's
December- Happy Hour at McGovern’s
To Join the YAC Steering Committee:
We welcome new members. We meet approximately every six weeks at Eberhardt Hall for less than two hours to brainstorm, plan events, and spread the work around so no one person is overburdened.
