Giving Opportunities

The $5 million Highlanders Athletics Campaign will enable New Jersey Institute of Technology to elevate its entire intercollegiate athletics program by ensuring that the necessary facilities, scholarships and program support are in place.

The goals for the three key areas in this transformational endeavor are:

• Facilities > $3,000,000
• Scholarships > $1,500,000
• Program Support > $500,000

The Campaign offers a variety of gift options, including commemorative and honorary naming gifts.

Facilities

Facilities naming gifts range from $50,000 to $1,000,000 and present the opportunity to assist in improving a specific facility, one that either serves NJIT's athletics program in general or is dedicated to a particular sport.

Scholarships

An Endowed Team Scholarship gift of $1,000,000 will provide financial assistance for four student-athletes.  A gift of $25,000 will endow an Individual Athletic Scholarship.  Donors making a gift of $10,000 or more to the pooled Highlanders Scholarship Fund will be recognized on a plaque in the Athletics Center lobby.

Program Support

Individual coaching positions can be endowed with a gift of $1,000,000.

Gifts of any size may also be made to the Highlanders Athletics Campaign, with the option of directing your contribution to:

• Paul Hausser Fencing Fund
• Gene Schmid Baseball Fund
• Mal Simon Soccer Fund
• Bob and Dot Swanson Endowed Athletics Scholarship Fund
