The Center for Academic and Professional Enrichment employs students as tutors and office assistants. Graduate and undergraduate students serve as tutors, mentors, and role models to fellow NJIT students. In addition, a cadre of experienced graduate and undergraduate tutors and faculty members provide tutorial assistance in upper division mathematics, science, engineering, and management courses.
The CAPE is always seeking qualified undergraduate / graduate students to be subject tutors and office assistants.
To qualify for tutoring position, you must have the following:
- GPA of 3.0 or better
- Strong communication skills
- Full time credit load
- Completed at least one semester at NJIT
To qualify for office assistant position, you must have the following:
- GPA of 2.8 or better
- Strong Communication skills
- Good social skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Full time credit load
