New Jersey Colleges and Universities participating in the Housing Scholars Program are appointed annually based upon their ability to recruit students in the targeted career disciplines of architecture, civil engineering, public administration, and urban studies.  Schools provide support for their interns through:

• Mentoring / career advising

• Academic credit for the internship experience*

• Professional references for admission into the program

University coordinators are required to meet regularly with their interns to assess and evaluate internship engineering and to attend one joint meeting per summer with their interns.  For more information on how your school may become involved, please contact:
