Career Advisement
Career Advisement
The Student and Alumni Development Team advises undergraduate and graduate students and alumni on career development and employment issues.
We familiarize you with the services our division offers and assist you in your career exploration in one-on-one and group sessions.
Career Advisors arrange for testing to help you assess career preferences; guide you in the preparation, evaluation, and updating of resumes and portfolios; aid you in the development and evaluation of a career plan for use at NJIT and post-graduation; prepare you for job interviews through workshops, coaching, and practice sessions; and help you evaluate learning experiences such as cooperative education, internships, community and public service, and part time opportunities on-and-off campus.
In addition, we facilitate on-and-off campus recruitment for graduating students seeking full time, professional opportunities. Our services also include familiarizing you with our Career Resource Center.
