Welcome to Green Civic Engagement for Students

What Is Green Civic Engagement?
College students are expressing their care and concern about green issues that impact our society.  Students have the time, energy, intelligence, resources and idealism to help solve challenges related to the environment. Through civic engagement, students who volunteer for green projects become part of the movement to mobilize person power and resources necessary to invest in the environmental well being of communities and make sustainable differences in the lives of others.

NJIT provides resources for those interested in green initiatives. Students can learn more about sustainability and green events on campus. Through blogs, students share ideas, express opinions, and find others who have similar interests.
