Berger Group has been supporting NJIT for many years beginning with the Louis Berger International Scholar Award that was established in 1997 through an endowment by the Berger family. The award provides financial support for students pursuing graduate education in fields consistent with Berger’s worldwide activities. These fields cover most majors offered by NJIT with preference to students in architecture, engineering, transportation and management. In addition, Berger Group is providing funding for and has assisted in the development of NJIT’s Science and Technology Enrichment Program. The program is designed to encourage high school students’ appreciation of the wonders of computer science and technology through interesting lectures and hands‐on experience and places particular emphasis on encouraging women and minority students to explore the fields of science and technology. Berger Group is also proud to count 18 NJIT graduates among its current workforce.
