Since 1995, many of NJIT’s most generous supporters have gathered annually for Celebration, a black-tie affair that has raised more than $4.3 million in scholarship endowment funds for students at New Jersey’s science and technology university. A festive evening featuring dinner and live entertainment, Celebration also honors individuals for achievements of great benefit to New Jersey and our nation, and organizations that have been exceptional in their commitment to the university’s mission.
For 130 years, the institution historically known as New Jersey Institute of Technology has enabled talented young men and women to embark on careers in a broad range of technological, scientific and design fields. NJIT enrolls more than 10,000 students in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in 125 degree programs offered by six colleges: Newark College of Engineering, College of Architecture and Design, College of Science and Liberal Arts, School of Management, Albert Dorman Honors College and College of Computing Sciences. Generations of NJIT alumni have risen to prominence in the private and public sectors, realizing their full promise as leaders and innovators.
NJIT is dedicated to making this opportunity available to as many outstanding applicants as possible, regardless of their financial circumstances. With the assistance of concerned supporters who share this vision for the future, NJIT will continue to nurture the aspirations of students whose personal success is vital for the well-being of our home state, the nation as a whole and the global community.
