Dean of Students

Parents at NJIT

Greetings Parent!

I would like to introduce myself to some and re-acquaint to others.  My name is Anthony Culpepper, assistant to the dean for parent and veteran services.  You can reach me at 973.596.3469 or culpeppe@adm.njit.edu should you have any questions or concerns about your son or daughter.  My role is to connect you with resources that assist you in working with us to make the NJIT experience all that it can be for your sons and daughters.

We at NJIT are pleased that you have chosen to join our ever growing Highlander Family!  As a parent or guardian of an NJIT student, you are part of our Highlander Family Community. We want your son or daughter to have an enriching and successful college experience.

With that in mind, NJIT is committed to educating parents on how to support their son’s or daughter’s NJIT experience. You can help by encouraging your daughter to take on a leadership position in a campus organization or texting your son a reminder about his financial aid deadline.  Studies show that parental encouragement increases the chances that a college student will graduate and be successful.

So parents please, let me be your “One Stop Center” for all your questions, and concerns.  I truly look forward to hearing from you soon, even if it is just to say hello.
