A recent graduate in industrial engineering, ERIC MATTESSICH ‘09 spent his boyhood taking apart and rebuilding engines. Then at NJIT he channeled that interest into inventing a device that captures and uses car exhaust to make a cleaner, more efficient hybrid engine.
