Financial Literacy

Blue and green ribbon Debt without Regret

New Jersey Institute of Technology has teamed with a nonprofit organization American Student Assistance (ASA) to deliver a FREE program for all students and alumni. SALT is an online resource that helps students finance a higher education, manage debt and build money skills. Learning good personal finance skills now can help you reach your goals and find success sooner. Your life goals are important, and we want to make sure you have the tool necessary for a life time of success.

SALT can help you with:

  • Tracking and managing your student loans
  • Finding scholarships, internships and jobs
  • Repayment options
  • Loan advice from SALT experts through online chat or by phone
  • SALT Community- Peer-to-peer support
  • SALT Courses- an online learning resource

Students on Financial Aid Probation with an Academic Plan will be required to complete two (2) SALT Financial Literacy online sessions and submit certificates of completion.
