You will find the steps below to access your electronic 2014-2015 Award Offer and other materials to guide you in the financial aid process. We encourage you to accept your awards within two weeks. In addition, a Financial Aid Newsletter was prepared to explain the details and the critical deadlines. We also have extensive information for every aid program in the2014-2015 NJIT Student Financial Aid Services Policies and Procedures document. It is very important to read the entire document as eligibility requirements for all aid programs are explained in detail.

If you applied and you were accepted to the Albert Dorman Honor's College, you will receive additional notices containing the Honor's Scholarship award.

Steps to View Your Scholarship Offer (Please view the “Viewing Your Award on the Web Tutorial” for a visual guide to viewing and accepting your awards)

Step 1: Create your University Computing Identification (UCID) as soon as possible by completing the online forms at http://ist.njit.edu/accounts/ucid.php

Step 2: Log on to the Highlander Pipeline Portal at www.my.njit.edu

Step 3: Click on the Admitted Freshmen Tab

Step 4: Select Aid Year 2014-2015

Step 5: Review your Award Offer

Steps to Apply for 2014-2015 Need-Based Aid

Step 1: File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1, 2014 (estimate your income if you have not filed your taxes).

Step 2; In about 3-5 business days after you have completed the FAFSA, you will receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) for your review.

Step 3: Make any corrections to your FAFSA as necessary  at www.fafsa.ed.gov .

Step 4: Look for your need-based award offer email notice in March 2014.

Step 5: Review your 2014-2015 need-based award offer following the "Steps to View Your Scholarship Offer" instructions above.

Step 6: Send your tuition deposit by May 1st
