Jacqueline Bunner is a senior from Raritan NJ majoring in Civil Engineering. She graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School in 2005. Besides her role as a Connections Miniversity Coordinator, Jackie is a member of the NJIT Women’s Track Team and a Residence Assistant in Laurel Hall.

Why NJIT?

I chose to come to NJIT because of the opportunity it holds for students willing to invest into the university. Our campus is expanding in everyway including athletics, academics and experiences offered to students. If you are willing to be involved on campus scholarships, trips, and exposure to new things are just the beginning of what is offered. I saw this potential when I looked at NJIT and wanted to be apart of the growing school.

Why Civil Engineering?

Engineering is something that I always had an interest in. I actually started my NJIT career as an Architect but decided to transfer to Civil engineering. After seeing the artistic side of the building business I decided to switch to the more technical aspects. I found it to be the perfect fit and look forward to graduating next year.

What do you like best at NJIT?

What I love best about NJIT is the diversity on our campus. It brings many new ideas to different aspects of our academics. I have learned more then just civil engineering at our university.

Why Connections Miniversity?

 I became a Connections Miniversity Coordinator so I could share my amazing experiences at this school with the incoming freshman. I love being at NJIT and I want to share my passion for the university with the first year students so they might enjoy their experience here as much as I.
