Why NJIT?
I chose NJIT specifically for its location and cost. I couldn’t imagine myself far from my family, so it made my choice a clear one. I felt that the campus was small enough for me to feel like I could make a difference in the classroom and in clubs – and I was right.
Why Mechanical Engineering?
I chose Mechanical Engineering because of the opportunities that NJIT offered within the major. The flexibility regarding concentrations was perfect for me and I’ve always been a lover of cars and planes and I love learning what makes everything work.
What do you like best at NJIT?
I love the small campus size! It allows students to make a difference and become a part of any club or organization that they chose and have their voice be heard.
Why Connections Miniversity?
This is my third year being a part of Connections Miniveristy and it was the best decision that I made as a freshmen to send in my application. I’ve given a lot of time and effort into this organization to make it an entertaining and educational experience for all freshmen entering NJIT.
Clubs & Organizations:
I am currently a Lead Coordinator of CMV and I’m on WJTB, NJIT’s Geek Radio.
Greatest Accomplishment:
My greatest accomplishment at NJIT was being promoted to Lead Coordinator of Connections Miniversity. It allowed me to better the program for all incoming freshmen and to make NJIT more enjoyable.
Career Goals:
After I graduate, above all, I would like to be happy. Whether that job includes cars or planes or trains, I couldn’t even care!
Favorite Music:
I love pop and rock. Specifically I love Jason Mraz (my favorite) and Incubus, Franz Ferdinand and Taylor Swift.
Favorite Movie:
Garden State
Favorite Book:
Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs
Favorite Class:
Colonel Burris’ Calc I class was the best, by far!
