Mission
Success in academics and athletics are not mutually exclusive, but synergistic. The coexistence of academics and athletics on the NJIT campus is not only possible but also beneficial. Our student-athletes' physical gifts and abilities are not simply extracurricular activities, but a demonstration of persona excellence.
The Highlander Athletic Fund's mission is to enhance the educational and athletic experience of student athletes at New Jersey Institute of Technology through financial support, attendance at athletic events, and increased awareness of the Department of Athletics' inter-collegiate athletic program.
