Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, (ADA) the university must provide reasonable accommodation, including leave time, to a qualified individual with a disability.  Reasonable Accommodation is any modification or adjustment to a job or the work environment that will enable a qualified employee with a disability to perform his or her essential job functions.
