Connections Miniversity 2008 Registration

Before registering for Connections Miniversity make sure you have:
  • Registered for Placement Testing
  • Paid your deposit to NJIT
  • Created a NJIT UCID and password

Session preference is handled on a first come first serve basis.

Welcome to New Jersey Institute of Technology, Home of the Highlanders. We are excited to have you join our university community this coming semester.  In order to make your introduction to college life as successful and well rounded as possible, you will be participating in Connections Miniversity. CMV is a multi-faceted and interactive program created so that new students have the opportunity to get a head start on their future at NJIT.

During your stay, you will be receiving your Placement Test results, taking your picture for your official NJIT ID card, and receiving your NJIT required software package.  In addition, you will have the chance to meet your future classmates, explore the college campus, find out about university clubs, organizations, programs and events, and sample life in one of the University’s residence halls.

If you have any further questions about Connections Miniversity please contact us by phone, (973) 596-5438 or by email, ConnectionsMV@njit.edu. Our office hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. During the summer (May-August) the office will be closed on Friday. We are confident that participation in Connections Miniversity will provide you with the skills to succeed at NJIT.  We look forward to meeting you, GO HIGHLANDERS!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO INCOMING FRESHMEN

Important Message To New Students

Your class schedule will be posted for you to print on Highlander Pipeline on Mon, Aug 4. As you may recall, your UCID and password is needed to access Pipeline. Once in Pipeline, click the tab under the header marked “ My Courses” . This will give you your fall schedule of classes and locations. Please note that with the exception of students with AP credit, changes in individual schedules are not possible at this time. After classes begin you will have the opportunity to meet with your academic advisor to discuss any academic concerns you may have during the fall semester as well as advisement for the spring semester.  Enjoy what remains of the summer!
