New Jersey Institute of Technology to Open Extension Site at Gloucester County College
Beginning this fall, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) will establish a new extension site at Gloucester County College (GCG), in Sewell.
NJIT and GCC will host an open house on August 12, 4 – 7 p.m., in the GCC Student Services Building, to announce the new site. Residents of the Gloucester County region are invited to the open house, where they can register for two NJIT surveying classes offered this fall. By registering for the classes, students can earn credits towards an NJIT bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering Technology.
(Editor’s Note: Reporters and photographers are invited to attend. Call Robert Florida, 973-596-5203, for details).
NJIT officials will attend the open house to explain the two civil engineering surveying classes, “Bound and Adjacent Property,” and “Adjust Computations,” to prospective students. The officials will also provide information about other NJIT undergraduate, graduate, and graduate certificate programs that are offered both online or in traditional classrooms.
GCG classes begin on Aug. 30, 2004, and run through Dec. 16, 2004. Each class offers three undergraduate credits and will be held on-site at Gloucester County College. To register for the surveying courses, contact an NJIT customer service representative at 800-624-9850, email cpe@njit.edu, or contact Marge Roth at GCC: (856) 415-2157. The GCC campus is located on Tanyard Road, Sewell, just off Exit 56 of Route 55.
