NJIT head men’s soccer coach Pedro Lopes was inducted into the Rutgers University Olympic Sports Hall of Fame on January 30 in Piscataway. Lopes played three professional seasons with the North Jersey Imperials and served as an assistant coach for eight seasons at Rutgers before being introduced as NJIT’s ninth head coach in July 2003.
