Deane M. Evans, FAIA, executive director of the Center for Architecture and Building Science Research at NJIT, was a guest speaker at the 2005 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Grassroots Leadership and Legislative Conference on February 11, 2005 in Washington, DC.  Evans spoke on the topic of  “K-12 School Planning and Construction: An Economic Catalyst for Development.”
