A total of 17 NJIT school swimming records were broken over the weekend at the Metropolitan Conference championships at Rutgers University. Additionally, a Highlander reached the finals (top 24) of eight individual events. As a team, the NJIT men finished 14th of 17 teams, one place better than last season, while the women's team paced 15th out of 21 schools.
