Coming off a 17-day layoff, the NJIT  men's volleyball team posted its most convincing victory of the year, defeating the University of New Haven, 3-0 (30-21 30-16 30-19) in Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association mandatory crossover play Wednesday night at the Fleisher Athletic Center. NJIT freshman Eduardo Welter (at left), the nation's leader in service aces per game, recorded a career-high eight aces.
