The NJIT baseball team clinched a spot in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament with a 6-4 victory over visiting University of the Sciences in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon at Riverfront Stadium. With the win, the Highlanders completed a three-game weekend sweep of USP. The home game against Caldwell College that was rained out on March 24 will be made up on April 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Riverfront Stadium.
