NJIT to Host Mathematics Conference

Avner Friedman, PhD (at left) of The Ohio State University will be the keynote speaker at the Second Conference on Frontiers in Applied and Computational Mathematics on May 14-15, 2005 at NJIT. Hosted by the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Center for Applied Mathematics and Statistics, the conference will explore recent advances in mathematical biology, mathematical fluid dynamics, nonlinear waves and electromagnetics and applied statistics.
