Highlanders Rally Past Lafayette; NJIT Records Third Win of the Season

Sophomore Jill Dickinson's team-high 22 points led four double-figure scorers and NJIT past Lafayette 70-59 in women's basketball action Thursday night. The Highlanders, playing a Division I schedule this season for the first time, recorded their third win of 2006 in impressive fashion, outscoring Lafayette, 48-32, in the second half.
NJIT, New Jersey's science and technology university, enrolls approximately 10,000 students pursuing bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in 120 programs. The university consists of six colleges: Newark College of Engineering, College of Architecture and Design, College of Science and Liberal Arts, School of Management, College of Computing Sciences and Albert Dorman Honors College.
