First African-American Astronaut Bernard Harris Tells Summer Campers To Reach for the Stars

Former astronaut Bernard Harris, the first African-American to walk in space, visited the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp today at NJIT. Dr. Harris interacted with 48 middle-schoolers in a science experiment and encouraged them to pursue their interests in science, technology, math and engineering.
