Three graduating seniors were awarded NJIT’s highest honor for earning the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) during the university's 2008 commencement at the Prudential Center. Biological sciences major Krystian Jarosz, of Colonia, information technology major Amy A. Steed, of Lakewood, and computer engineering major Oscar Tapia, of Clifton, all attained a 4.0 GPA.
