NJIT’s EOP Academic Boot Camp Graduation Ceremony Tomorrow
NEWARK, Aug 6 2008
WHAT: EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) Boot Camp will hold the closing ceremony for its summer academic enrichment program. Some 150 students spent the past five weeks in this academic "boot camp,” living on campus and attending a grueling schedule of classes from Monday to Thursday before heading home for the weekend. The program helps incoming students, most of whom are minorities, make a smooth transition from high school to college.

NJIT, New Jersey's science and technology university, enrolls more than 9,558 students pursuing bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in 120 programs.
