Recent NJIT Graduate Receives Top Awards for Academic Excellence and Sports at NJIT Convocation

Robert A. Herrera, a recent NJIT graduate, received a Presidential Leadership Award during NJIT’s recent convocation ceremony. The award recognizes students who have shown a deep commitment to NJIT.
Herrera, of Dover, DE, graduated in May of 2008 with a degree in architecture. Herrera was one of six student athletes to be named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar this past Spring.
NJIT, New Jersey's science and technology university, enrolls more than 9,558 students pursuing bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in 120 programs.
