Parents Invited to Tour and Learn About NJIT at Feb. 22, 2009 Open House
NEWARK, Feb 10 2009
NJIT will host an open house for high school students and their parents on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Although walk-ins are welcome, interested students may contact the Office of University Admissions at 973-596-3300 or visit http://www.njit.edu/admissions/openhouse/ to register for the event.
Events will include tours of the 48-acre campus, information about the wide range of undergraduate degree programs and minors, opportunities to meet with students, faculty and staff. Students and their parents will also be able to participate in workshops and departmental demonstrations. Residence halls, classrooms and athletic facilities will be open for viewing.
NJIT, New Jersey's science and technology university, enrolls more than 9,558 students pursuing bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in 120 programs. The university consists of six colleges: Newark College of Engineering, College of Architecture and Design, College of Science and Liberal Arts, School of Management, College of Computing Sciences and Albert Dorman Honors College.
