NJIT President Robert A. Altenkirch received the Martin Luther King Award this morning at “MLK Day: Fulfilling the Dream Through S.T.E.M.,” a breakfast to acknowledge those individuals who have been an advocate for Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream.  Dr. Carl Mack, executive director of the National Society of Black Engineers, was the keynote speaker. The event was sponsored by the NJIT Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers.
