The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility, the newest addition to NJIT's growing campus, was officially dedicated yesterday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Vincent J. Naimoli '62, his wife, Lenda, and members of the NJIT community.

NJIT President Robert A. Altenkirch said that construction of the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility makes an significant statement about NJIT’s commitment to the city of Newark. "The continuing growth and improvements planned for our campus comprise a positive dynamic that can have a much wider influence on the city that has been the university’s home for more than a hundred and thirty years," he said.
