Charles William Bell III, a graduate student majoring in civil engineering at NJIT, was chosen as one of the representatives of Newark who will accompany His Holiness The Dalai Lama during his visit to Newark this weekend at the Newark Peace Education Summit at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Bell, a Brother of Lambda Sigma Upsilon, received a programming award last week at the NJIT Highlander Student Achievement Awards for his MentoRR Program: It’s a Real Responsibility.
