Student Team Places in Top Six in ASME Undergraduate Design Competition

Angela Calderon, Bushra Hossain, Marieme Dembele, and Yamin Noor, all students in NJIT's Biomedical Engineering Department, placed in the top 6 in the Undergraduate Design Competition held at the ASME Summer Bioengineering Conference. The team designed a stereoscopic motion tracking system for the HandsUp gaming system developed by the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center at NJIT, led by Biomedical Engineering Professor Richard Foulds.
