Rojas-Cessa Gives Invited Talk at the World Wide Security and Mobility Conference

Roberto Rojas-Cessa, PhD, associate professor in the department of electrical and computer Engineering at NJIT, was an invited speaker at the World Wide Security and Mobility Conference (WWSMC) on July 25-27, 2011 in Princeton, NJ. Rojas-Cessa discussed research performed by his research group at the Laboratory of Networking Research on proliferation of viruses and malware in peer-to-peer networks. He also discussed the effects of malware with infectious properties under different probabilities of detection, and the use of trust management schemes to mitigate their proliferation in the network.
