NJIT's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) held a closing ceremony for students who participated in the 2011 Summer Academic Enrichment Program on August 2 in the Jim Wise Theatre. Students spent the past six weeks in this academic "boot camp,” living on campus and attending classes from Monday to Thursday before heading home for the weekend. The program helps incoming students, most of whom are minorities, make a smooth transition from high school to college.
