Adjunct Professor To Give Two Workshops at International Conference in Peru

Cesar Bandera, PhD, adjunct professor in NJIT's School of Management and College of Computing Sciences, will be giving two workshops on Oct. 19-21at the Third International Conference on Computation and Telecommunications in Lima, Peru. The first workshop teaches business plan development and start-up funding to companies and the administration of the newly formed international business incubator Centro Peruano-Americano para el Desarrollo Empresarial  (CEPADE). CEPADE, launched earlier this year in Lima by the University Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, is modeled after NJIT’s own Enterprise Development Center. The second workshop addresses the area of m-learning (distance learning via cell phones), and teaches authoring and broadcasting techniques for educational mobile multimedia. This workshop emphasizes the delivery of educational material to rural and underserved demographics.
